Syria’s Democratic Forces deny negotiations with the Syrian government

The mutual president of the Syrian democratic forces’council “Riad Derar”on Tuesday denied any negotiations with the Syrian government about the fate of the eastern Euphrates region after Syrian media announced that the latter was negotiating with the Kurdish units.

Derar stressed the lack of desire for a military confrontation between the two sides, but to open a genuine negotiating path that guarantees democracy and the rights of the Syrian components, questioning the political will of the Syrian regime to start a negotiating stage.

It should be noted that there have been reports of negotiations by the two parties leading to items recently published by the media, without any official body confirming this report.
